PayFit simplifies payroll management and HR processes for SMBs. We have built a fast, intuitive and automated SaaS solution to help business owners and HR professionals save time and money allowing them to refocus on what really matters: their employees. Through PayFit, employees have dedicated access for their payslips and are able to manage efficiently their leave and expense requests. To build such a solution, we have created our own programming language: JetLang. Thanks to JetLang we were able to code Labour Code and collective agreements, and today we continue to add new features.

We have set ourselves a mission to support the digital transformation of HR management through our ever growing range of product features and services. We have a strong presence in France since 2015 and have been quickly growing in Germany, Spain and the UK. More than 4 000 companies such as Big Mamma, MinuteBuzz or Sellsy to name a few already trust us. Over 500 PayFiters have already joined the adventure and we have raised 95M€ to keep growing.

Job Description

Your role → Senior Project Manager ⭐

As Project Manager, you report directly to our co-founder and CTO. You will lead complex technical projects in order to automate solutions which will meet the demands of a rapidly growing business.
You will work closely with a strong Engineering team which counts 90 passionate people who develop our app and collaborate with the Product Team to be (very) fast. The team is divided into different tribes to better address our diverse technical challenges.

Your missions ⭐️

As the Project Manager, your scope will be divided between project management and people management. Your responsibilities will include:

Project Management
• Identify teams’ needs and challenges that can be automated within PayFit
• Imagine and design high-impact solutions that will be implemented by your team
• Organize and prioritize the development of technical features and ensure smooth project delivery
• Set up tools and processes to support your team in the development of the best technical solutions
• Make sure that the running and execution of the implemented solutions are consistent and flawless
• Work hand in hand with different stakeholders, from C-level executives to team members, throughout the entire lifecycle of the project

• Anticipate the potential issues related to product development, performance and scalability that teams can face and define winning strategies to avoid them

People Management
• Build and lead a solid engineering team that delivers excellent results through rapid iterations
• Hire and onboard engineers to build the most diverse and greatest team possible
• Coach and mentor engineers to excel at their work and grow.

Preferred Experience

This job is for you if... 🦄

• You have BS in Computer Science or Engineering (or equivalent)
• You have 5+ years of experience managing projects in tech, including experience within an international fast-paced company where priorities shift rapidly
• You are a highly creative problem-solver with an entrepreneurial mindset
• You are an excellent communicator, who is able to collaborate with and gain trust from different stakeholders, from C-level executives to team members
• You have demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team to deliver high quality technology products/services
• You must be technically experienced, knowledgeable, and credible to help teams make the right design, architecture, and technology choices
• You are fluent in both French and EnglishExperience founding a company would be a plus
