The position is based in Paris, France.
Position Overview :
We are seeking an experienced Customer Marketing Manager to lead our customer marketing efforts. This pivotal role aims to drive customer activation, retention, and expansion by developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies across the entire customer journey. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of customer marketing within the context of a Product-Led Growth (PLG) and self-serve business model and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
The Customer Marketing Manager is a key player of the Product Marketing team, ensuring collaboration between product, sales, customer support and other marketing teams to align objectives and maximize self-serve efficiency. He/She plays a central role in the marketing team, consolidating all initiatives that contribute to improving the customer journey.
Key responsibilities :
- Design and execute activation, retention, and expansion communication strategies (including partnerships, referrals, etc) to enhance customer lifetime value and support business growth
- Oversee all aspects of customer communications, including email campaigns, tailored content formats, community engagement, and personalized outreach to strengthen customer relationships.
- Orchestrate all initiatives related to the customer journey ensuring all key contributors, especially product, customer support, and marketing are engaged and aligned around the objectives/directions you set to continue improving the current experience
- Own the PayFit customer journey process end-to-end, from ensuring the exhaustive mapping of all the key customer moments, identifying optimization opportunities, and implementing experimentations to facilitating team collaboration
- Guide strategic decision-making for product development, marketing, and customer service initiatives across all stages
- Foster a customer-centric culture within the organization that considers the full lifespan of the customer relationship.
Qualifications :
- 6+ years of experience in customer marketing, with a proven track record of implementing successful activation, retention, and expansion strategies
- At least 5 years in B2B Saas
- Strong understanding of the product-led growth/self-serve business model and its implications for customer marketing.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead initiatives independently and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
- Data-driven mindset, with experience in using analytics to guide decision-making and demonstrate marketing impact.
- Experience using marketing automation and CRM platforms (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce) to understand/manage customer communications and workflows
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
- Proficient in French and English
