The position is based in either France or Spain.
About the Role:
As a Full-Stack developer within the Expand Squad, your mission will be to strike a balance between simplifying complex systems and delivering new features.
You will play a pivotal role in designing and building effective solutions for our customers, working closely with your team to make informed decisions and understand their implications. Your responsibilities will encompass the entire software development lifecycle—from discovery, design, and building to operation and support—ensuring that the products you develop meet high standards of security and quality. You'll be actively involved in identifying and resolving customer issues, continuously improving our offerings, and contributing to the team's overall growth.
This role is for you if :
- You have 5+ years of experience in a Fullstack developer role with NodeJS & TypeScript
- You have a strong hands-on background in a development role, preferred in a product context and with a SaaS product
- You are comfortable with AWS services, especially with serverless components (Lambda, Step functions, workflow orchestration)
- You have a strong understanding of software architecture and have experience with Event-Driven Architecture (EDA)
- You have experience with continuous delivery and with test-driven best practices
- You are an advocate for software design principles, familiar with Domain Driven Design
- You love to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders, like product managers, software engineers, data engineers…
- You can navigate ambiguity and can work autonomously while you are still a strong team player
- You speak English fluently and you want to work in an international and dynamic environment
It would be great if you also :
- Have domain knowledge about upsell, payments, or payroll
- Have experience working in a product-based company

Hiring Process
1. First you will meet a Talent Acquisition Specialist for a discovery call (30-45 min)
2. Then you will meet with Daniel, the Engineering Manager with whom you will touch on more technical topics of your experience (30 min)
3. You will go through a technical challenge at home and then a code review interview with our Engineers (60 min)
4. Then you will discuss with Product & Designer partners (45 min)
5. The last step would be having a discussion with Pierre, Engineering Director of the tribe (30 min)
